Swerve Shines at State Regional Qualifier!

November 22, 2012 — Swerve Robotics and their Alliance Captain Cyber Reign from King’s Schools in Shoreline, WA, took 1st place in Olympic Division, qualifying both teams for the FTC State tournament January 17 and 18, 2012!

In addition, Swerve won the PTC Design Award, an award which recognizes those design elements of the robot that are both functional and aesthetic. Swerve was also runner up for several of the judged awards, including the highest award, the Inspire Award. Way to go team!

Congratulations to the entire team for their outstanding combined efforts:

– programmers, build team, animation team, CAD crew, engineering notebook lead, scouts, pit crew, battery monitor, spirit sprites, team photographers, drivers, coaches, mentors, parents, sponsors

– you are all integral to the success of this team. Thank you. Thanks also to the dedicated FIRST WA organizers and volunteers. Your devotion and hard work is much appreciated.
