LEGO Robotics Camp – Mayan Mayhem

Swerve Robotics and FTC team 417 are pleased to announce the introduction to LEGO robotics summer camp, Mayan Mayhem!  mayanwithback

The camp will be held at at Wooden Cross Lutheran church from July 10-14, 12:30 pm to 4:30. Campers should be sure to eat lunch before coming to camp.

This camp will help fund our efforts to bring FIRST robotics programs to children in Botswana, Africa. If you want to contribute to our fundraising efforts, you can do so at our GoFundMe page.

Location: Wooden Cross Lutheran Church
Dates: July 10 -14, 2017
Time: 12:30 – 4:30
Cost: $250 per student payable to Swerve Robotics.

Taking FIRST to the World!

Please join us as we support the newest of Dean Kamen’s projects to save the world… FIRST Global . Our club has joined the Global STEM Corps , think technological peace corps, to support the rookie teams that are forming all around the globe as they learn about designing, building, programming and driving a robot while discovering how much fun can be had while changing the world!

UPDATE:  We are proud to announce that Botswana now has a FIRST Global team. To learn more about the program, check out their blog where new teams are introduced or sign up for their email newsletter.

Space Elevator

Swerve Robotics fielded a team in the “Anything Goes” category at ISEC‘s 2015 Robo Climb Competition, a junior level Space Elevator competition held this past weekend at ISEC’s Space Elevator Conference at Boeing‘s Museum of Flight.
